Nazo Waku Yakata is dubbed a "sound adventure" title where players explore the many esoteric rooms in the mansion called the Nazo Waku. Gamers will get to experience the game's use of 3D audio while looking around the mansion.

In addition, the adventure title will let players interact with objects and situations in each room by showcasing various 3DS inputs. Examples include speaking through the 3DS microphone for conversing with the mansion's denizens and tilting the gyro sensor when checking out the surroundings of a particular room.

An English version of the game has yet to be confirmed by Capcom.
