Uncharted and The Last of Us developer Naughty Dog recently got a tour of Elon Musk's private aerospace company SpaceX, according to tweets from employees at the game company.

"Naughty Dog touring SpaceX!" wrote artist David Ballard, who attached an image (above) of the SpaceX building to his tweet.

Meanwhile, Naughty Dog developer Jason Paul said, "I'm going to space!" with an image of the SpaceX office.

SpaceX is headquartered in Hawthorne, California, which is about a 20-minute trip from Naughty Dog's offices in Santa Monica.

It is unclear if Naughty Dog's trip to SpaceX was purely recreational or if the studio used its time there to conduct research for an upcoming project. The developer is currently working on an unannounced PlayStation 4 game.

Halo creator Bungie also has ties to the aerospace industry. The developer has called NASA a "constant source of inspiration" for its new game Destiny. Dr. Craig Hardgrove, from the NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory, visited Bungie's offices in January.
