NASCAR SimRacing crosses retail finish line

EA waves checkered flag for its stock-car simulator; PC racer features multiplayer support for 43 simultaneous drivers.

Gentlemen, start your PCs. Electronic Arts today shipped NASCAR SimRacing to retail outlets today. The game was developed by EA Tiburon and is available now for the PC.

The simulation features over 60 real-life racers, among them Dale Earnhardt Jr., Jeff Gordon, and Tony Stewart, and 25 licensed tracks, including Daytona International Speedway, Milwaukee Mile, and Bristol Motor Speedway. In the career mode, racers battle through the NEXTEL Cup, National Series, and NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series.

The racer supports a whopping 43 simultaneous online drivers. While swapping paint on the oval, drivers can talk to each other with online chat support via Voice over Internet Protocol.

NASCAR SimRacing is rated "E" for Everyone and retails for $39.99. For more information on the title, turn left over to GameSpot's previous coverage.
