Namco to launch Rebelstar: Tactical Command

Sci-fi turn-based strategy title from Codo will land on the GBA in August.

Namco Hometek today announced Rebelstar: Tactical Command for the Game Boy Advance. The game is being developed by Codo Technologies, the team behind Laser Squad Nemesis, and it is slated for release this August.

In the game, the year is 2117, and Earth has been taken over by the Arelian Empire. Players will assume the role of one of the rebels who rises to battle the Arelians and liberate the planet.

The game will feature campaign, skirmish, single-GBA hot-seat multiplayer, and multiple-GBA multiplayer link modes. The game features RPG elements, stealth skills, and destructible environments.
