The year was 1982. Gamers--dressed in denim jackets and acid-washed jeans--plopped quarters into a new game called Dig-Dug, while Dexy's Midnight Runners' "Come on Eileen" blared over the arcade's sound system. Times may have changed, but Namco still has a soft spot for the retro.

The publisher today announced that a bevy of popular songs will be featured on its upcoming classc games compilation, Namco Museum: 50th Anniversary Arcade Collection. Among the songs announced are "Come on Eileen," Loverboy's "Working for the Weekend," Fine Young Cannibals' "She Drives Me Crazy," The Romantics' "Talking in Your Sleep," and Dazz Band's "Joystick."

Several classic games, such as Pac-Man, Galaga, Pole Position, and Rally X, will be included in the compilation. Namco Museum: 50th Anniversary Arcade Collection will retail for $19.99 on the PlayStation 2, Xbox, GameCube, PC, and Game Boy Advance.
