Have a god complex? Then Cartel Games' PC game, Mythic Blades, may just be your cup of ambrosia. The 18MB demo for the Olympian slugfest is now available on GameSpot DLX.

In the game, Perseus, Medusa, Jason, and a slew of other famous Greek mythological figures can duke it out for the approval of the gods. Evidently, Ares has decided to challenge Zeus' authority as the ruler of Olympus by creating a tournament to topple the bearded lightning-tosser's regime. In the demo, gamers will be able to play as a bullish minotaur or the Amazonian queen, Hippolyte.

Mythic Blades is the first game from Mexican developer Vermillion Games, and it's being published by Utah-based Cartel Games.

Mythic Blades is now available from Cartel's Web site for $29.99. Rating information was unavailable as of press time.
