@DevilMayMaster: Here's TOTS video page: http://www.gamespot.com/shows/today-on-the-spot/
@DevilMayMaster: Hey there. I asked around and the editors claim that the Today on the Spot shows have been sharing the dates just about every time the show airs (3 times a week). I believe these dates include the following, but I haven't had a moment to watch the TOTS shows in the past few weeks to verify. Looks like it's being released leading up the the game's release date. Jan. 28: MVC3 Tourney: Part 1Feb. 4: MVC3 Tourney: Part 2 Feb. 11: MVC3 Tourney: Part 3 Feb 15.: Game released!
Come on, this fighting game isn't gonna be all that great. It's missing a lot of interesting characters... Why would they take out Frank West? Are they STUPID?
I live in san jose which is like 30 minutes away from SF,have almost enough money for mvc3,but i never played the series before >_> so...
We have reached our limit on registration and our waitlist. Everyone will receive an email tomorrow about their registration status, the address, and instructions about how to check in. Thanks!
Too bad that Mega Man's chance to join Marvel vs. Capcom 3 was failed, no thanks to Ryota Niitsuma for reporting this. But it's all thanks to Ryota Niitsuma for deconfirming Sentinel anyway. Like I said that just because Mega Man's the face for Capcom DOES NOT mean they put him in.
@Gaoth Yes, the tournament will have the Simple Mode on and better, it will have the greatest and the spectacular 30 character build. That's waaaaay bigger and better than the 18 character build.
I love all the nerds whining about this being called a "tournament" when this is obviously just a fun thing to help promote the game and allow people a chance to try it out.
annnnnd im waiting for it to fall in price hard. learned my lesson on SFIV and SSFIV....didn't I >.>
I really think that a live stream of this would be fantastic. Too bad I live too far away to join the tournament.
Awww.. too far! I hope there will be a live stream though so I could watch.. Oh well, they'll post some vids anyways..
will there be a live stream? if not, i sure hope the video covers the entire match from start to finish..
How about letting the game release first.....If you just want to register fans to come and try it out before it releases, say that. A tournament is something entirely different, and is utterly rediculous seeing as though only a handful of people have played it.
Man..playing a game that NO ONE is not totally fimilar with (unless to veteran MVC2 players) MVC3. This should be quite an interesting show.
@redeer Well, whats wrong with people participating to learn whats around :) ANd anyway, in the end the thing that would count is that you achieved something from it. @right4dead Guessing it's in person for San Francisco people :( I thought it would be online :D Anyway haha cool... Shame nothing like that ever happens on this island ;_;
