Mumbo Jumbo, the game development studio that created Take-Two Interactive's Myth III: The Wolf Age, is closing its office in Irvine, Calif., according to Ron Dimant of United Developers, the studio's parent company. The developer is consolidating its resources in its Dallas office. The company intends to release more information about the consolidation next week.

This information supports a recent post on Mythvillage.org by designer Andrew Meggs that states that "the entire Myth III team" was terminated as of November 2, 2001. The post indicates that the termination is due to not having any projects lined up in the near future.

Myth III: The Wolf Age was released in late October under Take-Two's GodGames label. For more information, read our full review of the game.
