MSN Gaming Zone has Face Change

Microsoft revealed Tuesday that its MSN Gaming Zone, a mostly free matchmaking and online gaming service, has had a major redesign.

It is now easier to get into games and different areas in "The Zone," as it is called, and its redesign was meant to appeal to first-time players.

"Our goal is to continue to offer the best gaming community on the Internet," said Adam Waalkes, product unit manager for the MSN Gaming Zone. "We have completely redesigned the Zone from the ground up, adding the features that our users have asked for to enhance their gaming experience."
