MS Saga goes gold

Futuristic sci-fi RPG from Namco Bandai ready for release later this month; story sees orphan and mobile suit take on enemies.

Namco Bandai Games today announced that its upcoming game, MS Saga: A New Dawn, has gone gold and will be ready to ship to stores on February 21. The PlayStation 2 game is a sci-fi role-playing game starring Tristan, a teenage orphan committed to exacting revenge on those who laid waste to his orphanage. Tristan sets about his task by hopping into a mobile suit, which can be customized with 200 interchangeable parts for specialization in a variety of attacks. The character designs were inked by Akira Yasuda, who is best known for working on the Street Fighter series. MS Saga: A New Dawn is rated E10+ for Everyone 10 and Older, and it will retail for $49.99.
