Among the new content and features include new Gold characters, more Challenge Mode skins, and additional gear. On top of that, Warner Bros. has overhauled the Faction Wars system, while the matchmaking system should be improved across the board.

What's more, as a special birthday treat, Warner Bros. is giving away the Fujin's Blessing support card and an "abundance" of Souls for everyone who logs in.

This update for the free Mortal Kombat X mobile version is out now on iOS, while Android players will get it "soon."
