Previously, Mortal Kombat for the PS Vita was expected to arrive sometime this spring. Created specifically for Sony's new portable, the game sports a new Challenge Tower mode with 150 missions. Additionally, the game makes use of the PS Vita's touch screen by enabling players to swipe a finger across the screen to perform a fatality.

Mortal Kombat for the PS Vita will be the second entry in the popular fighting series to hit shelves in as many years. Last April, NetherRealm shipped the Mortal Kombat reboot to a warm critical reception and sales of over 3 million.
