The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind, Bethesda's ambitious fantasy role-playing game, has shipped and will begin arriving in stores tomorrow, according to a company representative. The game lets players explore a huge medieval fantasy world filled with cities, dungeons, monsters, and magic. Like the previous games in the Elder Scrolls series, Morrowind features a nonlinear storyline with dozens of quests and subquests, allowing players to follow whatever path they choose. The game's advanced graphics engine supports 3D graphics that are comparable to the graphics of the latest first-person shooters. In addition to the extensive single-player campaign, Morrowind comes with a complete world-building tool that lets players create custom items, monsters, quests, and other content for use in the game.

Morrowind will be available in some stores tomorrow for an approximate retail price of $49.99. For more information, take a look at our in-depth previews of the game.
