More Xbox One S Deals and Xbox Live Black Friday Promotion Revealed

Numerous retailers will offer the Xbox One S for $50 off on Black Friday, but if you don't want to deal with the rush, there is another option.

Microsoft's Larry "Major Nelson" Hryb announced today that all 1 TB Xbox One S systems will be $50 off in the days leading up to Black Friday, spanning November 20-23. That means the $350 Battlefield 1 and Gears of War 4 Xbox One S systems will drop from $350 to $300. Other 1 TB Xbox One bundles that will be marked down in the sale include the ones themed around Madden NFL 17 and Halo.

Then starting on Thanksgiving Day (November 24), many retailers across the US will offer the Xbox One S at $250--and this includes the Battlefield 1 and Minecraft bundles. This offer is good until November 28, which is Cyber Monday.

Microsoft also confirmed that Gears of War 4 will be marked down to $35 at numerous retailers Black Friday through Cyber Monday, while Recore will see its price discounted to $20.

There will also be a sale on Xbox Live. According to Microsoft, more than 250 offers will be available, spanning games, movies, and TV shows. The sale begins on November 18 for Xbox Live Gold members, while everyone will be able to access the promotion from November 22-28. There will also be offers that only run on Black Friday weekend (November 25-28).

Microsoft has not announced the full rundown, but said Gears of War 4, Forza Horizon 3, Recore, Quantum Break, Rise of the Tomb Raider, Batman: The Telltale Series, and Ori and the Blind Forest will be discounted. Xbox Live Gold members will save up to 10 percent more. We will report back with a full rundown of the deals when Microsoft announces them.

In terms of accessories and subscription packages, the following offers will be available November 24-28:
