TOKYO--Dragon Quest VII and Valkyrie Profile will both be rereleased in the PSOne Books series in Japan on February 3, Square Enix said today. Dragon Quest VII will be priced at 3,500 yen ($34), while Valkyrie Profile will be priced at 2,500 yen ($24). This news follows previous announcements that Dragon Quest IV, Star Ocean: The Second Story, and others will be released in the budget series on March 3.

Square Enix also announced that it's slashing the price on its Final Fantasy XI entry disc (which helps first-time players get into the game) for the PlayStation 2 and PC. The PS2 disc will now cost 5,040 yen ($49), down from 8,190 yen ($80). The PC version has not yet been priced. Both will hit stores March 3 and will include the Chains of Promathia expansion pack.
