Electronics Boutique has decided to continue its prepurchase program that started on January 20 to make sure that gamers could guarantee a new Monster 3D II accelerator card would be waiting for them when it is available to gamers everywhere.

EB's 40,000 newsletter subscribers were the first to know about the offer.

EB will offer the prepurchase promotion in its 450-plus stores in the US and 25 stores in Canada with a US$10.00 deposit. Web folk can prepurchase the board as well from EB's web site. Those who do purchase the board on the Web will not be charged until the product ships.

EB told GameSpot News that since the offer was made public, it has been flooded with more and more emails concerning the product. One EB World employee said, "We knew it was going to be a hot product, but we have been getting more e-mail on a daily basis about it than we ever thought we would get. There is definitely a pent-up demand for this one."
