MLG.tv Columbus Arena Opens Tonight With $75,000 Call of Duty Tournament

The brand-new MLG.tv Columbus Arena opens tonight with the Call of Duty: Ghosts Pro League Season 3 Playoffs, a tournament with a massive $75,000 prize pool. The three-day event runs through Sunday, October 26, and you can watch it all through MLG.tv.

Eight of the world's best Call of Duty teams will compete in front of a live audience (the event is sold out) for a shot at the $30,000 first-place prize. You can watch every match live through MLG.tv, the MLG apps for iOS and Android, as well as through Xbox 360 and Xbox One.

Play-by-play commentary will be provided by commentators such as Puckett, Fwiz, Benson, and Maven. This event is also significant in that it represents the first-ever tournament to be played at the MLG.tv Arena in Columbus, Ohio. The 14,000 square foot arena is described as "state of the art," and it is the first permanent eSports venue in the United States.
