MLG Anaheim Championships: Tournament Information

From June 20th through 22nd Anaheim will once again host MLG's pro circuit, handing out $150,000 over several games and bringing together gaming and eSports enthusiasts alike to America's west coast.

The most promoted title at the tournament will be Call of Duty: Ghosts for the XBOX 360, where some $80,000 will have competed for by 11 international teams. Additionally there's a 192 team open bracket for several additional teams to quality for the main tournament.

Equally this year's Anaheim MLG event marks the return of StarCraft2 to the MLG stage, with a $40,000 tournament being hosted at the event. As per tradition 12 players have been placed into the pool-play stage, while an additional 4 competitors will be decided through the massive 256 player open bracket held on-site. Among those already in poolplay are the likes of viOLet, HuK, Polt and Scarlett.

Additional, smaller tournaments at MLG Anaheim include Super Smash Bros. Melee ($15,000), Injustice: Gods Among Us ($7,500) and Killer Instinct ($7,500), all of which have separate formats. Those can be found here.
