At the rate that Take-Two is using its status as the exclusive third-party publisher of Major League Baseball games, it will have a full clubhouse of franchises soon. In addition to the MLB 2K sim series, Take-Two has the arcade-style The BIGS, the Konami import MLB Power Pros, and the Nintendo DS Fantasy All-Stars. Today, Take-Two added a fifth franchise to its MLB stable with MLB Superstars, a collection of baseball-themed minigames for the Wii.

Intended to be played by fans of all ages, MLB Superstars drops the most recognizable players into a variety of baseball-themed games. Among the included events are Baseball Pachinko, Baseball Bocci, Baseball Golf, and a rhythm-based Mascot Dance game. There's also a Green Monster game in which players attempt to bring down the famous Fenway Park outfield wall by swinging baseball bats at it.

MLB Superstars is being developed by Deep Fried Entertainment, which created the Fantasy All-Stars game on the DS and handled the PlayStation Portable version of Full Auto 2: Battlelines. MLB Superstars steps up to the plate this fall.
