Minecraft developer Mojang is making adjustments to the price of its sandbox creation game in order to "align with the United States Dollar."

For regions such as Canada, Europe, and New Zealand, this means an increase in price, so those interested purchasing it should do so before May 23, when the new prices will go into effect.

"If you haven’t bought Minecraft yet, it might be worth purchasing in the next week if your pocket money allowance isn’t aligned with the United States Dollar," Mojang said. "You could end up saving yourself a pretty penny." Take a look below for a pricing table with the upcoming adjustments.

The changes apply to Minecraft for PC (the Java version), and not the Console and Pocket Editions.

In related news, a Super Mario Bros. Mash-Up Pack was released for Minecraft Wii U on May 17. According to Xbox boss Phil Spencer, working with Nintendo has "been great."

"Partnership with Nintendo on this has been great," Spencer said. "Nice to see Minecraft doing so well on the Wii U and to get the Mario content."

The free Super Mario Mash-Up Pack features 40 themed skins for characters like Mario, Luigi, and Princess Peach, as well as bad guys like Bowser, Wario, and all of the Koopalings. There is also 15 songs from Super Mario 64, as well as new, Mario-themed textures.

Microsoft paid $2.5 billion to acquire the Minecraft franchise and developer Mojang back in 2014. Following this, Microsoft has continued to support the game across all platforms. Although some DLC is made available only on Xbox platforms, the PS4/PS3 and Wii U version of Minecraft also receive regular content updates and DLC.
