CogniToy has announced an add-on for MindRover: The Europa Project, its unusual strategy game that lets players build, program, and simulate robots. The add-on, which is titled MR_RCX, will add 18 new physical and logical components based on the LEGO RCX robot system. In addition, the add-on will let players download to and use the robot brain files in an actual RCX. The Mind Rover RCX add-on is now available for download from the official CogniToy Web site for a retail price of $15.00.

MindRover was first released in late 1999. In the game, players design, build, and program several types of robots. The robots must then complete a variety of tasks, relying on the artificial intelligence that players have programmed. For more information, take a look at our full review of the game.
