Microsoft Living in the '80s

Do you think you were the ultimate fashion fiend back in the '80s? Microsoft is looking for proof.

Comments

To kick off the coming of its Revenge of Arcade collection compiling some of the best video games it had to offer in the 1980s, Microsoft has launched its "Totally 80s Photo Flashback" contest.

Participation is simple. Dig through your old photo albums and find your worst '80s fashions captured in photos. If you loved neon, lived in parachute pants, thought you actually looked good as a break-dancer, or wore anything else others would call the worst of the '80s, send in your photo to Microsoft, and it will give you a free copy of Revenge of Arcade.

If your photo is chosen from all the others, Microsoft will feature it on its web site for all to (cough!) admire.

Still not sold on the idea? In Revenge of Arcade, you'll get to play hits like Ms. Pac-Man, Xevious, Motos, Rally-X, and Mappy. And you'll get to play without having to steal quarters from your parents.

If you actually want to keep the photo so you can have your children make fun of your fashion sense someday, you can e-mail a GIF or JPEG version of the file to Microsoft instead. You can check out the Microsoft contest site for more information.
