Microsoft at the movies
Halo and Crimson Skies may be coming to the big screen.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, Microsoft has enlisted the help of the Creative Artists Agency (CAA) to explore Xbox games as a possible source for movies. The CAA recently spent the day at Microsoft's headquarters examining 30 different games and evaluating their potential. One game in particular that seems to be receiving attention from the CAA is Bungie's Halo, which has already sold more than 800,000 units. In addition, a film based on Crimson Skies--which is expected to arrive in some form on the Xbox--is under serious consideration as well.
An official release date for the Crimson Skies Xbox game has yet to be announced. We'll keep you posted on any further developments involving Microsoft games and the CAA.
