TOKYO--Japan publisher Spike has officially announced that it will release Michigan for the Japanese market in August. The PlayStation 2 game will retail for 7,140 yen ($65). Michigan is a horror adventure game developed by Killer 7-creator Gouichi Suda's Grasshopper Company. In the game, the player takes on the role of a cameraman in a news crew sent to investigate a deserted metropolis called "Michigan." The game allows players to follow either moral or immoral paths. For example, if the reporter or other non-player characters run into trouble, the player can either try to warn them about it or let them die in order to get the footage on tape for a higher score. Viewers over the age of 18 can check the official Web site for promotional trailers.
