Metro: Last Light Tower Pack add-on released

Latest downloadable content released for Metro: Last Light introduces the Tower Pack; two remaining DLC packs still to come.

Deep Silver has released additional DLC for post-apocalyptic first-person shooter Metro: Last Light. Named the Tower Pack, the add-on is available now for purchase via Steam, the PlayStation Network, and Xbox Live online in North America, Europe, Australia, and New Zealand.

In the Tower Pack, players fight their way through a tower filled with hordes of enemies. Difficulty increases as progress is made. The tower pack will be sold for US$4.99/€4.99/A$5.59, and is the second of four planned DLC packs for Metro: Last Light.

The pack is also obtainable in the Metro: Last Light Season Pass, which can be purchased for US$14.99/€14.99/A$16.79. The season pass includes an exclusive bonus weapon, the new semi-automatic shotgun called Abzats.

Deep Silver has revealed additional details for the remaining two DLC packs. The Developer Pack will include a fully stocked shooting gallery, AI arena, Metro Museum, and a bonus solo mission. The final add-on, named the Chronicles Pack, will feature three original single-player missions that cast the player as Pavel, Khan, Ulman, and Anna.

Metro: Last Light was released in May this year for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC. For more about the game, check out GameSpot's review.

Metro: Last Light was such a horrible game I still have no idea how it got such good reviews.  Everything from the graphics to the story to the poor A.I. was HORRIBLE.

I played metro 2033 and was sort of disappointed, I played it because everyone said if ur gonna play Last Light definitely play 2033. But I didn't think 2033 was very good, is this game an improvement?

virtual reality? WTF 4A i thought this is supposed to be an apocaliptic first person shooter with horror elements

this is just a spit to the fans of the original, this is just absurd how much Deep shitver milks out of this game i thought they would expand artyom's story, or other in-game characters story, but all they do is just half ass it, say false things about it and sell it cheap becuase they bearly had any real work on it FFS i hate this age's gaming, it's all about sales sales sales...

This tower-pack add on...does it add anything significant to the story?

I was really looking for some large dlc that added to the original game. Its good that they are trying something new but I would have liked it on a grander scale.

Pretty cool - I just tried it. Though I'm more looking forward to a bigger expansion pack with more missions.

@SilentAssassin The story was HORRIble?? really the story based in a book with great sales around the globe, i guess it is a horrible story because the book doesn´t sale at all, dimitry his writer never won writing prices and reconition, a movie never was planned for this franchise, and i guess every game most be suceful only for the graphics like zelda (sarcastic if someone doesn´t notice)

@SilentAssassin I'll agree with you about the A.I., which is pretty bad. But everything else, no. The game was at least an 8.

@SilentAssassin you must not have played far enough to reach outside because even on consoles the outdoor scenes were beautiful.

@themc_7 Agree wtih SteXmaN's comments but I will say the shooting mechanics and hit detection is greatly improved over the original. The graphics are incredible and the mission variety is a little better. Maybe rent first to see if you like.

@Pre_ordered_PS4

Didn't get any bugs myself.  The Ranger scavenging mission was pretty good and intense, and lasted a good hour and a half.

@SteXmaN @themc_7 WRONG. I didnt like 2033, it was horrible. I quit it in the middle. But i loved Last Light. I think its one of the best FPS's out there.

@dominoodle There is nothing wrong with the console versions of the game, they look and play fine. This player just did not like Last Light so to him or her it is automatically "HORRIBLE," which is not true.

@dominoodle@PeterDuck@SilentAssassinthis silentassassin guy doesnt know shit in Metro games... graphics really ? you must be a real blind mofo... its an apocalyptic game where everything should be muddy, grey, dead etc..  to enhance the atmosphere feel. Same for the story, it suppose to show you what humanity has left to give and to survive underground when the outside world is not safe.

Horrible my ass, your the one who is horrible at this game. But maybe your too stuck with your BF or COD game that brainwashed other FPS on the market and what a fool you are.
