In Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, Snake will be able to call in support characters to help him on his missions. So far, Konami has focused on Quiet, a controversial female character that can cover Snake from vantage points he can't reach.
Today, Konami revealed a new supporting buddy, a wolf named Diamond Dog, or DD for short. In a new video from TGS 2014, we see Snake first find DD in the wilderness next to a dead older wolf when he's just a little cub. Snake adopts DD, and we later see him as an adult wolf, who like snake, wears an eyepatch.
Check out the video above and images below to meet Snake's cutest new partner.
Series creator Hideo Kojima recently announced that The Phantom Pain will release in 2015 for Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, and PC. For more on the game, make sure to catch up with everything we learned from The Phantom Pain TGS 2014 trailer.
