According to Kotaku Australia, the release of Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes will be delayed in Australia and New Zealand.

The game will be released on March 27, a week later than its original planned launch date of March 20. It remains unclear whether the digital release of the game on the PSN store or Xbox Live will be effected.

GameSpot has reached out to local distributor Mindscape, who was not available at the time to comment.

Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes is the prologue to Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain. The game launches on March 18 in North America for the Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, and PlayStation 4. Sony will release a special Ground Zeroes limited-run PS4 console in Japan.
