Metal Gear... Sequel?

TOKYO - Konami plans to release an enhanced version of Metal Gear Solid for the PlayStation in Japan this summer.

TOKYO - Konami will release a revised version of Metal Gear Solid in Japan this summer, called Metal Gear Solid Integral. This is basically the same game Konami released last year for the PlayStation but with numerous enhancements.

Here's what will be new in MGSI:

- English voices replace the original Japanese voice acting- Selectable subtitles in Japanese or English- 300 stages in the training mode- Ability to move or attack from first-person view- Additional missions after completing the game- PocketStation compatibility

Metal Gear Solid Integral for the PlayStation will be released on July 1 for 4,900 yen (about US$40) in Japan.
