TalonSoft's next game of commerce and conquest is complete. The company announced today that Merchant Prince II has gone gold and will ship to stores at the end of the month. The turn-based strategy game was developed by Atlanta-based Holistic Design, the studio that created the original Merchant Prince game. The new game features five single-player campaigns set in the Renaissance. Players can trade goods, research new technologies, and fight their way to fame and fortune while competing against rival traders, enemies, and pirates. In addition, the game includes multiplayer support for up to four players over a LAN or Internet connection.

Merchant Prince II is a modern remake of the original Merchant Prince, and it includes a variety of new options and features. For more information, take a look at our previous coverage of the game.
