MechWarrior Online update planned for April
Developer introduces new class of mechs, community events, and interface improvements.
The official MechWarrior Online page announced that it will be launching new content and updates for the game in April.
The new content includes the addition of artillery consumables, air strike options, cockpit items, and a new line of BattleMechs called Champions. The new mechs come equipped with a permanent 5 percent experience boost and custom configurations.
Other additions in the update include improvements of team options, which allows players to join two lances with a commander each and assign lance commands using the battlegrid, and some tweaks to the user interface in-game. Players can also expect 12 versus 12 modes as well as more community events like double XP weekends.
Check out the official post for more information on the update.
The exact date of the April update is yet to be announced.
