Max Payne coming to the Xbox

Take-Two announces that the popular shooter for the PC will be coming to Microsoft's next-generation console.

Take-Two Interactive announced today that it will bring the popular PC shooter, Max Payne, to the Xbox this fall. Max Payne for the Xbox will be developed by Take-Two's Vienna-based development house, Neo Software. The PC version of Max Payne is currently the number one selling PC game.

Kelly Sumner, chief executive officer of Take-Two, said, "To date, Max Payne has represented the largest critical and sell-through success Take-Two has ever had on the PC. We are very pleased to leverage the successful Max Payne brand franchise by releasing video game console versions of the product this Fall."
