Where is the complete edition? Rockstar always release a complete edition of their games

$10 well spent on this game cheaper than nearly all the arcade/PSN games out there.

Normally expect lower quality when spending that much but considering the former $60 price tag and over 100 or close for the full package, i expect a lot more quality.

No more May Pynce leave  it to rest  and by way did 3D Realms used own series before rockstar did.

Amazing game/series :v
I had only briefly dabbled with the Max Payne series before 3 came out, so I played MP1, 2, and 3 in a row.
Max Payne 3 is one of the most solid mixes of story and satisfying gameplay out there, imo.

A lot of people would disagree, but I don't really understand why.

In the words of Max:

"You buy yourself a product and you get what you pay for."

why would anyone want to skip the cut scenes on a game that's so heavily focused on the story......

Good, MP3 was one of my favorite games last year.

Max Payne 3 was complete garbage. The whole shaved head and beard just killed the franchise.

I wish they had spent this time and energy on a Red Dead Redemption port to PC.

Why bring this to MAC and not Red Dead Redemption to PC?!?

Why is Max Payne 3 getting so much hate? I'm currently playing it and it's very good. The story is cool and well paced, the shooting action is solid and I really like the presentation.

Max Payne 3 on Mac? Those 3 Mac gamers must have the time of their lives right now.

@pszone We know, but in reality, all 3D Realms did was produce the first copy and Rockstar expanded the market for Remedy. Secondly, Max Payne 3 was a great game, probably the best shooter of 2012, everyone deserves to play it.

@MuddVader

I totally agree with ya. Don't forget the awesome soundtrack (Soriso favela, anyone?) and the AAA voice acting. The only thing I hated was that 35 GB HDD requirement.

@BryanParksSuper I think the shaved head and beard was realistic. Considering a lot of people are out to get him, he would have to go through a massive change in his appearance in order to blend in with society. Also I think the fact he was working as a bodyguard was realistic aswell, since killing is the only thing he knows now, and the only thing that gives his life meaning is protecting others, something he could not do for his own family.

@BryanParksSuperWhat!? You can't judge a game based on that. I bet you didn't even play this game, because it was too difficult for you, or maybe you're just trolling around. Max Payne 3 is a great game in its own right and your comment is really pointless, in my opinion.

@BryanParksSuper

Lol, i don't necessarily think it's the head and beard and overall look that made you hate MP3, i think it's more the fact that this 3rd outing wasn't 1st and foremost Max's story like the previous games before it but rather a side step about a scenario he happened to have been involved in about a tale of another family's story. I ain't gonna like, when the game went through the 2 flashback sequences when Max was back in that dark NY gritty setting was when the game started to feel like Max Payne again now should R* had applied that to the entire overall game i feel you may have had a better outlook on the game!

@BryanParksSuper Yea! To all developers of the world!!!! Keep the hair on your characters!! That's the single most important thing about games.....fun is overrated.

@bgranli Yes but its not a MAx Payne game. Its a focus group designed title to appeal to as wide audience as possible while completely crapping on the series.

If you played MP 1 and 2 you know that the game is no supposed to be a tropical island shooter

crix01
crix01

@bgranli Because some people are incapable to recognize something good when it's different from what they're expecting. And the unskippable cutscenes get really annoying when you are replaying the game.

Darth_Kane
Darth_Kane

@bgranli There's unskippable cutscenes like every two fraking seconds about Max moaning about how much of a loser he is, I actually wanted him to kill himself. That's not what Max Payne was about, I replay the previous two regularly but I've no interest in playing this one ever again. And besides, it had absolutely nothing to do with the previous' games story

TheDarkSpot
TheDarkSpot

I dunno, the cut scenes feel fresh to me every time. Guess it's the quality.

TheDarkSpot
TheDarkSpot

@Darth_Kane @bgranli The exact opposite here. I replay Max Payne 3 without getting bored of it, but couldn't really do so with the previous ones without any mods.

fred0309
fred0309

@Darth_Kane @bgranli yea I dident like the story either should have been written by remendy games  the ones who did the frist to games and not rockstar just dident feel like max payne  as munch as rockstar tried to capture  the feel of the frist to games

Viral-venom13
Viral-venom13

@fred0309

You don't like the story because it wasn't Max's story 1st and foremost like the previous 2 games but rather just a situation he happened to found himself in with another family's story!
