M.A.X. Murderer Confesses
Game designer who confessed online to killing his daughter is close to entering plea.
A man who police say confessed in an Internet chat group to killing his daughter has reached a tentative agreement to plead guilty to murder charges, the Associated Press reported Wednesday. Larry Froistad Jr. is scheduled to enter the guilty plea Friday to Class AA murder - the highest murder charge in North Dakota, the AP reported.
The count carries a sentence of up to life in prison without the chance for parole. Froistad, 29, was arrested in March at his San Diego apartment after allegedly posting several messages in a support group for problem drinkers in which he confessed to intentionally setting the 1995 house fire that killed his 5-year-old daughter, Amanda.
