THQ has announced that it has shipped Matchbox Emergency Patrol to stores. The game is based on Mattel's popular Matchbox toy cars, and it lets players assume the role of a police officer, firefighter, or paramedic in a variety of emergency situations. The game includes 27 rescue missions, and as players complete missions, they can advance in rank and gain access to bonus vehicles, eventually becoming the police chief, the fire chief, or a medical doctor.

Matchbox Emergency Patrol will soon arrive in stores for an approximate retail price of $29.95. For more information, visit the official THQ Web site.
