Nintendo has revealed some new details on the storyline of Mario Sunshine and announced a change to the game's tentative title. In the game, which will now be known as Super Mario Sunshine, Princess Peach and Mario take a vacation to an island that's always sunny, but when Mario gets there, he notices that there are scribble marks covering the walls of the local town. Interestingly, the person responsible for the scribbling has disguised himself to look like Mario, so naturally the locals blame the real Mario for the problem. Mario then sets out to clean up the scribble marks with his water cannon and reveal the identity of the imposter. One of the new screenshots released by Nintendo actually shows Mario attempting to clean up the graffiti with his cannon.

Super Mario Sunshine is scheduled for release on August 26.
