Nintendo has confirmed that Mario Sport Superstars will be available for the 3DS in Europe from March 10, a number of weeks earlier than its launch in both the US and Japan.

Developed by Camelot--the team behind Mario Tennis: Ultra Smash and Mario Golf: World Tour--Mario Sports Superstars features five sports. These include soccer, tennis, golf, horse racing, and baseball.

Of course, Nintendo's colorful cast of characters will all be playable, so you can pick everyone from Mario, Luigi, and Yoshi, to Wario, Waluigi, and Rosalina. Check out the trailer for Mario Sports Superstars below.

Mario Sports Superstars is one of the bigger 3DS releases in 2017. Other upcoming games include Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia and Yoshi's Woolly World, which has some new content to differentiate it from the Wii U version.

Nintendo's next platform, Switch, launches on March 3. It will be available simultaneously in US, Canada, Japan, "major European countries," Hong Kong, and other territories.

Nintendo of America's Reggie Fils-Aime has said it plans to deliver more Switch games on a regular basis to keep owners happy and draw in new ones, something which he admitted the Wii U failed to do.

"It really is the steady pacing of content that continually reinforces for the people who bought into the platform why they made a smart choice, as well as what compels people who might be sitting on the sidelines to jump in," he said.
