The promotional forces behind Marc Ecko's Getting Up: Contents Under Pressure will preempt their recently announced event in New York City with a similar, but bigger, one in Toronto. The Getting Up Festival features a graffiti expo, a car show, and a startlingly impressive lineup of hip-hop artists, including Mos Def, Kayne West, and Talib Kweli. Kweli is the voice actor behind the game's main character, Trane, a graffiti "artist" who must spray and maintain tags across New Radius in his quest to overthrow the city's oppressive mayor. The Getting Up Festival will be held August 13-14 at Polson Street Pier in Toronto. Getting Up: Contents Under Pressure will be released next month for the PlayStation 2, Xbox, PC, and mobile phones.
