Despite slow sales and an outright ban (granted, in New Zealand), Rockstar is planning PC and Xbox versions of its controversial PlayStation 2 game Manhunt. As part of their very informative conference call this morning, Take Two Interactive officials revealed they plan on bringing the ultraviolent adventure title to both platforms sometime in 2004.

One of the darkest games currently on the market, the M-rated Manhunt profiles convicted murderer James Earl Cash. After a fake execution, Cash is smuggled out of prison and forced to become the star of a snuff movie where must either kill or be killed. GameSpot's review has all the gory details on the game.
