Major patch coming to Battlefield 3

Swedish developer DICE planning comprehensive patch for Xbox 360, PS3, and PC to fix a host of issues across weapons, vehicles, and game types.

Battlefield 3 is getting patched up. Swedish developer DICE has released a comprehensive list of fixes currently planned for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC versions of the modern-day shooter.

The tweaks run across the entire Battlefield 3 experience and include general, vehicle, weapon, weapon accessories, and game type updates.

Some of the updates include players no longer taking damage from short falls, guided rockets only tracking ground targets, the removal of an animation glitch for the L96 sniper rifle, recoil and accuracy adjustments to many weapons, and the correction of spawn issues in Team Deathmatch and Squad Deathmatch game modes.
