Majesco confirms Psychonauts for the PS2

Majesco's buildup for the upcoming Double Fine-developed Psychonauts keeps getting bigger and bigger. This week, the publisher confirmed that the title would get a release for the PlayStation 2, in addition to the previously targeted PC and Xbox.

Official information on the title can be expected sometime this week, according to Majesco, but a spokesperson there communicated to GameSpot that gamers needn't doubt the publisher's intent.

Regarding the release of the PS2 version, Majesco said today it would "be simultaneous with Xbox and PC [versions] in 2005." Adding that "no specific release date has been set" for the PC and Xbox versions.
