As a key component of the Seattle Seahawks defense, cornerback Marcus Trufant is used to covering one offensive opponent. But earlier this year, he had to keep his eye on seven in competition during the 12th EA Sports Madden Bowl. Trufant, along with Phoenix Cardinal Edgerrin James, Cincinnati Bengal Chad Johnson, and San Diego Charger Antonio Gates, will be on TV sans football pads beginning tomorrow as ESPN and ESPN2 airs highlights from the virtual football championship. Eight NFL players tested their skills against each other in single-elimination play on Madden NFL 06 during the Super Bowl festivities, with only one walking away with bragging rights as the league's best Madden player.
