Wow.

Video game-inspired Halloween costumes are par for the course every year, but a new one inspired by Pokemon Go may stand as the one to beat for 2016.

YouTube's mattcyborgelt showed off his creation in a new video. As you can see, his costume actually works. You can spin the Pokemon Go icon, which spits out a Poke Ball. Then you can throw the Poke Ball at the smartphone screen of his costume to catch Pikachu. We're not sure how it works, but it's rad.

The video is vertical because he shared it on Snapchat. You can see on the smartphone screen that he included the Tinder logo, referencing his amazing, working Tinder app costume from last year (via Polygon).

Pokemon Go itself is celebrating Halloween with its first-ever in-game event. Until tomorrow, November 1, some of the game's "spookiest" creatures will show up more often, including Drowzee, Gastly, Gengar, Golbat, Haunter, Hypno, and Zubat. Additionally, players can earn even more Pokemon Candy during the event.

Following the launch of this promotion, Pokemon Go shot back up the Top-Grossing charts.

Pokemon Go is not the only high-profile game celebrating Halloween. For more on how other games are marking the spooky occasion, check out GameSpot's roundup.
