Lineage II goes gold

Lineage II: The Chaotic Chronicle has gone gold and is slated to hit stores April 28, NCsoft announced today. The fantasy-themed MMORPG aims to up the ante on the first game’s modest visuals by using the Unreal engine this time around. Lineage II has been in open beta since late March, and the curious can still sign up for a chance to win prizes, including computer hardware and gift certificates. In addition, beta testers will be able to keep their characters if they decide to purchase the game. Lineage II will retail for $49.99 and will require a monthly subscription fee of $14.99.
