Life is Strange Episode 1 Will Be Free Indefinitely

Life is Strange Episode 1: Chrysalis will be available for free indefinitely, developer Dontnod Entertainment and publisher Square Enix have announced. The episode will be available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, and PC starting from July 21.

"Although our team set out to create an award-winning narrative we still cannot believe the response we've had from players of Life is Strange" said Dontnod chief executive Oskar Guilbert.

GameSpot's Life is Strange Episode 1 review praised its story and setting, which "capture the essence of early adulthood." It also highlighted the social tensions that "make for meaningful choices."
