As promised, Cryptic Studio has revealed the Star Trek Online it has planned for Spock actor Leonard Nimoy, who passed away last week.

The main aspect of this is a large, stone statue of Spock giving the Vulcan salute. This will be located at the spot where players chose to gather and pay their respects following Nimoy's passing. His classic motto--live long and prosper--will be displayed at its base.

A similar statute will also be placed in New Romulus, but with the inscription, "The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few," meant to reference Spock's work on Romulan-Vulcan relations.

At both of these locations, an "in memoriam" plaque is being placed that will acknowledge significant members of the Star Trek franchise who have passed away. Currently, it will feature the name of Nimoy alongside Gene Roddenberry, DeForest Kelley, Majel Barrett, and James Doohan.

Finally, for the next week, black mourning flags will be hanging in Earth Spacedock, New Romulus, and Qo'noS.
