Lego Batman 3 Preorder Bonuses Are Split Between Six Retailers

Bonuses for this fall's game available at retailers like Amazon, Best Buy, and GameStop.

Warner Bros. today announced the preorder bonuses for this fall's Lego Batman 3: Beyond Gotham, revealing a total of six different goodies, all of which are available at different retailers. Unlike many preorder bonuses, those for Lego Batman 3: Beyond Gotham are physical toys in the form of minifigures and keychains, with the exception of the Digital Comic book at Best Buy.

Below is a rundown of the preorder bonuses for Lego Batman 3: Beyond Goth, which launches this fall for Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Wii U, PC, DS, 3DS, and PlayStation Vita.

The Lego series recently crossed 100 million units in lifetime sales, joining juggernaut franchises like Grand Theft Auto and Final Fantasy in reaching that sales mark. Because I will totally miss that Joker keychain if I buy from Best Buy...  Come on, I don't get why this is a big deal.  None of the bonuses are good anyway.

sounds like another pirate bay pickup...pricks!

The Amazon (U.S.) or Future Shop/Best Buy (Canada) E3 deal was better than this.  $15-20 off each game.  I don't feel like I'm missing out on anything.

There's a good way to do pre-order bonuses and then there's this

I've only preordered two games in the last ten years or so. God of War III and MGS4.

I'm not bothered by pre - order bonuses digital content or not. I've never come across a time when it was important content. It also doesn't cost extra because the money goes to the game anyways, and I enjoy getting a group of friends and going out at midnight to pick it up. Plus, I live in a rural area with only one gamespot that's not 2 hours away and they do run out of new games.

There should always be a "no extra content, no additional disc of junk, no "time limited" exclusive dlc, no pre-order bonus special super pooper edition, no bull****" version too, that's the one I'll always buy.

Well at least it's not something in-game taken out to force pre-orders. It's just a fun little extra and you pick which one you like.

I'm alright with that.

I don't preorder, neither should you

So Target and Toys'r'Us have the best bonuses. Got it.

At least the pre-order bonuses are physical items... I think.  It sure sounds like it.  Hey, if you want to do that for pre-order bonuses, I have zero problem with that.

I like how people are vocal against this but the game still launches with high preorder numbers. Honestly bonuses don't bother me I just pick one I like and buy it. I don't preorder unless the bonus sounds good. I accept this is the new marketing scheme and won't be the last. Wait until your preorder bonus is a digitized version of yourself in the game.

Gamestop sucks! Oh wait, are we hating all the retailers that do this equally now or just still gamestop?

Bungie sucks by the way also for doing exclusive stuff. Just bungie though all the other guys get a pass.

This bulls.hit pre-order bonus nonsense has reached a new high. Stop this now.

Wow, a whole six retailers! I guess "divide and conquer" is an effective strategy when it comes to conquering market shares as well.

i really don't like when they do stuff like this, but as long as its not in-game exclusives then whatever

Learned with AC3 not to pre-order games anymore.

As long as it's not gameplay, I have no problem with it.

Too much gamespot, most of us don't like the pre-order bonuses being shared out.  But this is nothing story compared to the Alien's stuff.  You always go too far with the moral crusades.

Lego games are actually pretty fun. Looking forward to this one.

Warner Bros are doing the same with Shadow of Mordor, the guys who have the cracked versions will get the best deals.

Also: TOYS R US? HAHA WHAT THE?

They're still making LEGO video games? Ugghh, the novelty wore off after like the 5th one.  They should do something like "LEGO Mario" on the Wii U, something different (and the Wii U could sure use some more games).

@Evil_Sidekick I agree bro just look at the state watch dogs is in with pre ordering, you'd have to buy at least 3 different editions just to get most of the extra dlc and even then you cant get it all. Pre order bonuses are stupid

yea I guess people who game seriously and buy more than Tomadachi Life should be shot. I buy several collectors editions a year on top of regular games so preordering at gamestop allows me to put down a little each week up until the game cones out. My preorder list total is around 1300.00 going into 2015 with non street dated games so yes I like bonus's for my effort. I survived Iraq so you don't really scare me tough guy.

@Evil_Sidekick People who don't have a lot of money benefit the most from pre-ordering games. Places like Gamestop allow people to put down a little at a time and pay it off like layaway. It is good for lower class gamers.

iamgodsmvp

@lrdfancypants It is Activision, not Bungie. Bungie is just the developer, Activision the producer,  made all the exclusivity clauses.

it's always been there . nothing new just seems to garner hate posts now by a few people.

gokartmozart89

@ezioismyname It took you that long? I never got the point in preordering for consumers. I've never had a game sell out on me.

StHapns247

@bernard978 Did you even read what the bonuses are? Unless you can download a mini tumbler LEGO set I do not think sealing the game will help you very much.

@spacecadet25 They've actually gotten better recently. Last year's Marvel game was probably the best one they've made to date.

Stebsis

@spacecadet25 Nintendo could actually make Lego games fun again, they've always been good in like involving gameplay with aesthetics of the game, like Paper Mario or Kirby's Epic Yarn that take advantage of the graphical style. In lego games it feels like there's not that much lego-like in them outside of graphics
