LeBron Brings the Heat

2K Sports shows off what LeBron James will look like in a Miami Heat jersey in NBA 2K11. Prepare yourselves, Cavs fans.

Last night, LeBron James made history by wasting an hour of the world's time to announce he would be heading to the Miami Heat to join Mario Chalmers and Michael Beasley (and some other guys) on the Miami Heat. Today, 2K Sports reps sent me a screenshot of LeBron James in Miami Heat gear from NBA 2K11. I am sorry for posting this, Cleveland Cavaliers fans. (No I'm not).

I don't know about you, but this screenshot looks totally off to me. For one thing, I don't see a tiny, virtual Jim Gray lodged up Bron Bron's backside at all. What do you think?

WACK! Lebron is a trader and wants to take the easy way out. I don't have time for that. If I was him I would of went to Chicago just so I could still have some challenges on the eastern conference. Now its going to be a cake-walk! But I am not worried, cuz my team is in route to having a "3-PEAT"

Haha all your lebron haters. Karl malone did it, gary payton did it, shaq left orlando, garnett ring hopped to boston. Whats the big deal? Oh, and kobe was wearing a diaper for 2 years crying how he wanted out of LA until the league rigged the Pau Gasol trade

2k should improve the dribbling controls and dribbling animation. im a 2k fan but see the nba live 10, live improve a lot and the dribbling is great and smooth as ever, but nba live players looks like plastic, more fluid in the game 2k!!!!

@ibleedgreen94 thats what he trains everyday for so that he wont be tired he wont be that different or tired compared from the first game or the 82nd game

ibleedgreen94
ibleedgreen94

@gam3freak13 ur right he wont come out very long and by the 82ND GAME HE WILL B worn out da first game means nothing compared to the next 81

Gam3freaK13
Gam3freaK13

@ibleedgreen94 i said Z was experience never said he was that good and lebron is not going to get worn out! and if he comes out he wont even be out that long. just wait for the first game of the season and we will just see what happens

ibleedgreen94
ibleedgreen94

@gam3freak13 if lbj plays 1 then their 3 position is deviod of any1 good once miller comes out but if u slide lebron back 2 three and put chalmers @ 1 then u have lebron playin around 45 minutes which by da end of the season will wear him out, and wut can Z teach th other bigs besides being big and slow o thats right nothing. if he wuz any good than cleveland would not hav brought in shaq last season

Gam3freaK13
Gam3freaK13

@ibleedgreen94 there point guard is goin to be lebron that has already been decided and i meant 4 centers but when i said work on skill i was mostly aiming that towards dexter pittman (a rookie) and joel anthony (3rd year) and these guy will be learning from guys like Z

ibleedgreen94
ibleedgreen94

@gam3freak13 whether da decision making itself iz deemed important or not isnt importsnt compared 2 da fact it took an hour two xplain what he could hav done in 5 minutes max. and the heat hav more than 1 flaw. every championship team da past 10 years and almost all of the nba history hav had a championship caliber point guard. mario chalmers AINT gonna get it done dont get it twisted. and even if lebron qnd dwade split time @guard that requires dem 2 play huge minutes which is fine but by da end of da season and in2 da playoffs they'll be burnt out cuz they dont hav a bench. and Z, juwan howard, and joel anthony r older players on the decline, they kno da ropes and wont be developing anymore skill.

Gam3freaK13
Gam3freaK13

@ibleedgreen94 how does his decision making not matter that makes no sence? i was curious on knowing what he was doin and thinking before he made his choice im sure plenty of other people were too. and they may not have a very dependable center but that is their only flaw at this moment and the staff is goin to be working hard with the centers they have and they will find someone suitable they can figure it out

ibleedgreen94
ibleedgreen94

@gam3freak13 on paper the heat look like a better team than the 09-10 cavs but we dont kno 4 sure, their bench lacks any depth and the people they brought in after miller arent able to stop the likes of shaq, dwight and when healthy KG which iz y they were brought in da 1st place. and when he xplained how he narrowed down dat decision he said he talkd to his momma liek any1 iz gonna say well itsok u left elbron ur mom said its a good choice no nobody cares whu he talked 2 whether it wuz his agent worldwide wes or marverick carter no1 would have really cared, the people just wanted 2 kno whether he wuz leavin or not

Gam3freaK13
Gam3freaK13

@ibleedgreen94 he talked about his whole process of concluding the decision and who he talked. his future team. best chance to win. how he wanted experience and how the gm devolope a plan how the got him in and much more so now he did not talk all about cleveland

ibleedgreen94
ibleedgreen94

@gam3freak13 lbj nvr gave a logical reason he just talked bout all he did 4 cleveland for 58 minutes. but u prolly cant c dat cuz all da championship banners he put up.

Gam3freaK13
Gam3freaK13

@ibleedgreen94 and your only reason of staying would be because the fans would hate you or my rings would be "earned". he isnt being given a ring he still needs to earn it and he will maybe not this year but he will. and so you think if he just sent a email to espn and said "o im goin to miami" people wouldnt have been pissed? plenty more people would have been pissed and asking why! needing a reason and through the interview he was able to do that. and as for the girl analogy, sometimes you have to move on from a women even though you love her with everything sometimes its the right thing to do to just end it. and thats what he did.

j-force01
j-force01

great!!! 2k should change james shot style

ibleedgreen94
ibleedgreen94

if i had his chioce i would hav stayed and trusted the organization that trusted me to take them to the promise land and so would alot of cleveland fans. lebron didnt need to lcarify anything if he just released a statement those millions of people dat watched da decision still would have found out. Lebron used a relationship with a woman as an analogy 4 his decsion so dats what im gonna du. lebrons been in ohio his whole life like being married to a woman for years, during those years you have had succesful marriage maybe not as successful as u know it could or want it 2 b, but still successful. years down the road u decide to leave ur wife and remarry another woman b/c the relationship looks good but ur really moving into uncharted water. thats exactly wut lebron did. he left his "wife" (Cleveland) 4 on paper a better situation. but u never wut what could happen in south beach

Gam3freaK13
Gam3freaK13

@ibleedgreen94 arlovski has a point i really did lose respect for some cavs fans by the way they acted. i mean did they really believe he was gonna stay? if you put anyone in lebron shoes to make that choice every single person would have done the same thing! and lebron had only one off game and that was the last one, honestly i think he didnt care if he won that game or not in the end because he stopped playing but in the start of it i know he was trying. and for kobe, he could have sat out on the last game in the finals and still would have won they dont even really on kobe that much that to is so stacked with great players and one of the greatest coaches ever. and he did the interview to clearify things for people he didnt do it to be cocky and get hella attention there was millions of people that wanted to know so why not havve a big thing for it. and him leaving is not immature at all! its him moving on to bigger and better things some may consider that maturing! its like just cause a team has a guy that took him far doesnt mean he has to stay he can do whatever the hell he wants to do his choice of team should not reflect how amazing he is or make him anything less than that

ibleedgreen94
ibleedgreen94

@Arlovski ur my prime example of a bandwagon fan u said u liked cleveland but lebron leaves and now u like miami, u never had any loyalty to cleveland u just liked lebron. if u were truly a cavs fan then u would understand clevelands angst. understand they haven't won anything since 1964, let me reiterate THEY HAVE NOT WON A CHAMIONSHIP SINCE 1964, that 46 years and theyve came close so many times yet failed, so how couldnt they b mad @ lebron?

Arlovski
Arlovski

Lebron doesn't owe anything to Cleaveland. He helped them for seven years off of his hard work and determination. They didn't give him anything that other fans wouldn't give their players. OH NO! They loved him like a son and cheered for him and he's just leaving them! I guess no other player can leave their team now because fans cheer for them too.... I used to be a Cleaveland fan because of how well the Cavs clicked and because I thought the fans there were pretty good. I now have no respect for Cavs fans and I'll be rooting for Lebron, D-Wade, and Bosh to steamroll the league.

ibleedgreen94
ibleedgreen94

@gam3freak13 da fact of da matter iz lebron gave up it uz apperent against da celtics and dont even say dat it wuz cuz he wuz hurt. Jordan played wit a fever of like 103 and still scored 40 points leading da bulls 2 a victory in the finals, more recently kobe has been playin wit a broke finger two bad knees and a bad back and still mananges to go lead his team. tru winners dont give up b/c of injury or sickness they fight through it. he then left ohio his home, the place where he became a star for miami to play wit his buddies. but he couldnt do w/o having a drawn out event called da "decision." to explain hiz flawed reasoning, his reasoning being he did what wuz best for lebron. dat in itself takes 5 seconds to say not a whole hour. that just rubbed clevelands nose in the fact they lost their best player and best chance of winning a title. i would hav been fine wit the choice had he been on a horrible team and in a horrible organization like the clippers or grizzlies or sumthing. but they had the best record the past 2 years, home court and a good enough supporting cast to win it all, its plain and simple lebron failed and didn't get da job done so he left, that in and of itself its immature and selfish. i understand why he left so he could win, what athelete doesnt wanna win but he just up and left the people he said he would win a chamionship 4.

Gam3freaK13
Gam3freaK13

@ibleedgreen94 he practically is almost guaranteed one im not saying this year but he will and even if never earned one title i would still consider him one of the best because the numbers that is pulls is ridiculous. 29.7 points, 7.3 rebounds and 8.6 assists. his points will go down for sure but those assist will be crazy. and the interview wasnt just like a thing so he can get hella attention i believe he had it so it wouldnt just be like hey im goin to miami. with the interview he could explain himself on his choice and defend his decision and what do you mean by yet? i dont think that cleveland would ever be able to give him his title

ibleedgreen94
ibleedgreen94

@gam3freak13 ur lookin @ it like he's guaranteed a championship cuz he went 2 miami, not so fast my friend Stern hasn't handed da heat da obrien trophy. he may hav won 1 in cleveland dis year but we'll nvr kno. i thinks it selfish dat he left and had to hav an hour special and used da boys/girls club as a excuse 4 it. if he wanted to raise them money then pull outt da checkbook and write em a check cuz u kno he got da money. the cavs org. wuz tryin to get a team 4 lebron, a coach 4 lebron, and ultinately a chsmpionship 4 lebron, they just weren't successful YET

Gam3freaK13
Gam3freaK13

@ibleedgreen94 some countries arent as good but most are pretty damn good and just because he went to a different and better team doesnt make him any worse of a player he will still be one of the best players ever. his decision was in no way selfish if it was selfish he would have asked for hella money and demand more there is nothing selfish or stupid about wanting a ring

ibleedgreen94
ibleedgreen94

@gam3freak13 its funny i dint ever recall calling u a bandwagin fan so e-z down and The teams in the NBA are better than most country's national teams dats a fact. i simply disagree wit lebrons move, i think its immature and selfish. Lebron ultimate goal iz 2 b da best player ever and dis move makes dat goal much harder b/c people will c MJ as a better player b/c he stayed and when kobe iz all done others may rank him higher than lebron, its not just bout chamionships cuz if dat wuz da case then Bill Russell would b da best ever not MJ or Magic or larry. its about loyalty commitment and hard work. GOD bless

To UberGamer: The city wasn't built around LeBron...he put the city on the map, (as far as the NBA goes at least) stop hating on him. He wants to win and he knows he can't win in Cleveland so he made the best decision.

My favorite player has been Dwayne Wade since 2006 because he helped my previous favorite player Gary Payton get a ring. When I turned into the heat that year I became hooked and sold that he was the best of the current players in my eyes and because of that Miami Heat is my favorite team... But damn I'm on fire with excitement. Wade, Bosh, and Lebron on the same team... Come on, that's just too much, a literal dream team in the league. It's all over. Wish I was in South Beach right now.

@ibleedgreen94 hahaha how is the nba tougher? the olympic teams have all the greatest players from their countries meaning that players like steve nash dont play for us they play for canada lol and never said i was on their bandwagon im just defending lebron from dumba** haters like you that have no common sence about whats going on! and i dont get what your trying to get at by your child story but there is NOTHING wrong with trading teams he sees a better future with miami and thats where he chose to go it was a smart decision i would have done that everytime he doesnt care about the money and that is all he would have gotten in cleveland he wants a ring cleveland maybe just maybe would have only got him one of those but now everyone hates lebron just because he makes a smart choice i mean get off his back and stop hating

ibleedgreen94
ibleedgreen94

@bs23baller the difference in the olympic team and the heat iz the redeem team had depth and one of da best coaches to walk the earth. Lebron didnt need to even have a point and the redeem team wouldve won but not in the NBA the competition is way tougher

ibleedgreen94
ibleedgreen94

i crack up @ all the people whu jump on the Heat bandwagon so quickly yet they cant even name half of miami's roster from previous years. people should slow their roll the heat r having trouble even fielding a team. If shaq goes to the hawks then the heat have u huge gap in the big man catagoriy cuz u cant tell me CB1 or joel anthony can hang wit Superman Shaq or the boston bigs. Zydrunas isnt a post presence anymore but he's gonna hav to play big man for Miami

ibleedgreen94
ibleedgreen94

the way i c it iz lebron and cleveland were like a family with a spoiled child. everything the child wanted he got and the parents went to great lenghts to get it. well one day the childs friend calls and says i can get the thing u want most dat ur parents havn't already got u. the child happily leaves his family believing the thing he wants most is iz just down the street. but the grass iz always greener on the other side isnt it?

bs23baller
bs23baller

@Freddy You are the dumbest person alive. LeBron will just be point guard and get 20 assists because he has that ability. Did you not notice that these guys all played together on the olympic team and won...I mean seriously man watch sportscenter they can prove how they'll play good together and yea gamefreak is right the celtics just did it..you know absolutely nothing about basketball lol

Gam3freaK13
Gam3freaK13

@Freddy wait so your saying that garnett peirce and allen didnt win a championship? lol if you saying that superstars one a team together can not win was true then why does USA have 13 olympic gold medals? haha

If LeBron wins a championship, I'll stop watching basketball forever. The truth of the mater is; LeBron James will never win a championship until he's ready for retirement and jumps on a good team. Known fact is, superstars cannot and will not co exist on the same team and be champions. He was better off in Chicago where a true super power team would be put together. He's just young and stupid. Looks good in the picture, but I've lost respect for the kid.

Gam3freaK13
Gam3freaK13

@ibleedgreen94 i agreed that they tried but it wasnt good choices that they made. the players they chose werent fitting to the way lebron played so you cant blame him on leaving it, like i said, it was one of the best choices he could have made in his career and anyone else, who plays the sport for the love of the game, would have done the same exact thing. and as for the his future championships being written off is completely stupid. a championship is a championship. it doesnt matter that he left his s***ty old team the titles that he will win will still be some of the greatest and remember forever

ibleedgreen94
ibleedgreen94

@sambucc666 its called basketball we dont use peach baskets anymore

ibleedgreen94
ibleedgreen94

@rahmie0789 since the lakers got D-Fish bak and signed Steve Blake they should be a better team. i already thought they could take lebrons little three b4 dat tho. I already accepted the fact that if Boston couldnt beat LA dis year then they wont beat da heat. but they'll be a high seed barring injury (knock on wood)
