The third day of alpha testing for Bloodborne, the upcoming PlayStation 4 RPG from Demon's Souls and Dark Souls creator From Software, has been delayed due to the discovery of a bug. A tweet from the game's official Twitter channel revealed the news.

The post was translated by DualShockers and is posted in full below.

"The third day of the alpha test that was scheduled for tomorrow, October 5, should be considered delayed due to a bug we found," the statement said. "We apologize to everyone who has made plans to participate and who was looking forward to it, but please understand. We will let you know at a later time when the test will happen. Thank you very much in advance."

From Software did not give any further details regarding the Bloodborne bug. However, an hour's worth of alpha footage from the game that emerged last week showed some glitching invisible floors, DualShockers reports.

Bloodborne launches on February 6, 2015 in North America, exclusively for PS4. From Software is developing the game with assistance from Sony Japan. For more on Bloodborne, check out GameSpot's previous coverage.
