Last Week Tonight Returns in February, New Trailer Teases It For Not Being Game of Thrones

John Oliver is almost back.

The fourth season of satirical news show Last Week Tonight kicks off in early February, just following the conclusion of football season.

Season 4 premieres at 11 PM ET on February 12. The show has been on a break since November, just after the US elections--the outcome of which is sure to be a frequent topic for the show to tackle.

HBO announced the news today with a new promo video, which easily could have consisted of Oliver being exasperated about everything that's happened during his time off. Instead, it hilariously slams the show for not being several of HBO's other popular shows, like Game of Thrones. Kumail Nanjiani and Larry David even make brief cameos. Check it out above.
