Lara Croft Flesh Fest

New pictures of a 24-year-old model dressed up as the omnipresent Lara Croft have popped up on the Web, and for all the guys out there who didn't think that a true Lara lookalike could be found, you're about to see Lara in the flesh.

GameSpot News (with a pretty good knowledge of the French language) went to find out what the future is for this amazing looking Lara lookalike.

Apparently, the pictures are taken from a popular French magazine called VSD. Rumors about the actress/singer/model are that she is secretly working on a movie, but no other information is known about the movie's topic or theme.

Apparently, the magazine ran a feature late last year about the rising importance of gaming. The magazine noticed the likeness of Vanessa to Lara Croft and used her to fill the cover and other pages as well.

VSD also asked her about if she would ever play Lara in a movie and she responded that it was the type of role she wouldn't mind filling. After seeing how good Vanessa looks as the Tomb Raider star, we're betting that if there isn't a movie in the works, someone is going to see these pictures and start putting a script together.

So who is this woman? Since we can't report on the private life of Lara Croft, we went to find some info on Vanessa. Here are a few tidbits about the model: She has been modeling since 1988, and it seems that this is but one of many talents. Before modeling she was an avid gymnast and trained for classical dancing. Apparently modeling has thrust her into more dubious roles as an actress and into singing, with a French Europop-sounding album called "Reve de Fille" (Girl Dream).

Her loves include wine, chocolate, and Walt Disney movies, and she hates the color green. And one final tidbit is that she has a Rottweiler - she calls him Mickey.
